Determine the model and make from the component that the motive force is required. If it's an external part of hardware, look upon the casing for the make and model number, or look at user's manual. When you need a driver for an internal device, navigate to "Start>Control Panel," click "Hardware and Sound," then click "Device Manager." Here an index of products are displayed. Note the brand name in the component that is not functioning properly.
Uninstall the driving force due to this component. Rightp-click on the component in Device Manager and select "Uninstall." Click OK. Click Yes to substantiate which you want to restart your computer and wait for it to reboot.
Open an online browser. Say hello to the name of this hardware or device in a google search, combined with the word "driver", i.e.: "Microsoft Intellimouse+Driver." Locate the manufacturer's website and see a driver download page.
Refer to the instructions written by the software creator to download and install your driver.
