Finding Older HP Printer Drivers

Hp printers have been established for years, but till the Internet evolved, there was absolutely no way to setup printer drivers when you didn't hold the CD. As far back as 1990, when HP created the DeskJet 500c color printer, you needed to use a CD to put in the drivers. Should you have a mature computer that work well then there is no CD, you can find older printer drivers online.


1. Go to HP homepage (see Resources). Simply click "Support & Drivers" through the tabs over the rest the page.

2. Confirm the Download Drivers and Software (and Firmware) box. Say hello to the product number. For example, in case you have a HP DeskJet 500c color printer, enter "DeskJet 500c." Visit "Go."

3.Click your operating system for the next page in the drop-down menu. Select "Next." Around the next page, it'll tell you if drivers can be purchased of course , if software programs are available.

4.Click "Driver" to spread out available drivers. Click on the driver. On the next page, it will inform you if your driver is available within your os and how to find it on your computer and do the installation. For those who have an adult operating-system, a driver download page will appear and prompt you in regards to what to accomplish to download the motive force on your computer.
